Kursbeschreibung

Lerne von Urban Sketcher und Künstler Danny Hawk, wie Du mit wenigen Mitteln stimmungsvolle Skizzen voller Tiefe und Struktur erzeugst. In diesem Workshop zeigt Dir Danny, wie Du mit feiner Linienführung, gezielter Schichtung und dem Zusammenspiel von Tusche und Aquarell Berliner Plätze und Architektur lebendig werden lässt.

Nach ersten Übungen im Modulor Studio arbeitest Du mit Fotovorlagen, die Danny zur Verfügung stellt – Du kannst aber auch gerne eigene Motive mitbringen – und entwickelst Schritt für Schritt Deine persönliche Sketching-Technik. Dabei liegt der Fokus auf architektonischen Details und Naturelementen aus Berlin und Umgebung.

Danny führt Dich durch den gesamten Prozess: vom schnellen Entwurf bis zur finalen Kolorierung – mit vielen Tipps aus seiner Praxis als Urban Sketcher. 

Dieser Workshop ist für Einsteiger*innen und für Anfänger*innen mit Vorkenntnissen. Danny spricht fließend Deutsch und Englisch – der Workshop ist bilingual.

ENGLISCH:

Find out from urban sketcher and artist Danny Hawk how to create atmospheric sketches full of depth and structure with just a few tools. In this workshop, Danny will show you how to bring Berlin squares and architecture to life with fine lines, targeted layering and the interplay of ink and watercolor.

After initial exercises in the Modulor Studio, you will work with selected photo templates - either those provided by Danny or bring your own motifs - and develop your personal sketching technique step by step. The focus is on architectural details and nature from Berlin and the surrounding area.

Danny will guide you through the entire process: from the quick sketch to the final coloring - with lots of tips from his practice as an urban sketcher. 

The course is aimed at beginners with some experience in sketching as well as advanced sketchers who are looking for new inspiration. Danny speaks fluent German and English - the workshop is bilingual.
